I watch DTVMass pretty much everyday and try not to miss it because of the messages. I enjoy each one of the Priests and the messages. Thank you for this message today on the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. As a new Catholic (I entered the Faith this past Easter) I found your message enlightening. I try to ask Our Lord everyday to open my ears that I may hear, to open my eyes that I may see, to open my mind and heart that I may discern, understand, and put into practice the will of Our Father. The Cross represents the "gravity of evil" and "the gentle....mercy of God" and represents "the World's Greatest Love Story." I now understand much better the why as to the placement of the Crufix above the Altar and will forever look upon it differently.
