As a native Louisvillian I wanted to like this show as I get the local references. Unfortunately the comedy falls flat and of course most people not from the area could care less about the local references to the area. They simply want good acting, crisp comedy and a interesting story line. None of this is evident in this show. Also Louisville sits at the base of the Ohio River just below the state of Indiana. Some folks think we are more midwestern rather than southern. The creators of the show have our accents all over the place. There are many with midwestern accents and some deep southern accents that really don’t fit in. I’m sure many viewers from other areas of the country don’t know or care about this. Those of us who live in the area are more attuned to this and find it as an added distraction. I had hoped for better.
