I remember watching Eyes on the Prize in the 80's/90's during HS and was mesmerized! This is perhaps THE BEST most comprehensive collection of information on Black history and the Black experience every produced! One of the reasons I became a teacher was because I wanted to teach/share with others the lessons I learned about myself and my people from watching this series. Get the teacher's guide if you own this series or are screening it for an audience.

I wish there was a middle thumb because while the acting is excellent, there are so many storylines that it's difficult to follow. I applaud the effort to confront a difficult aspect of history, though so I'm giving it a thumbs up.
