Adrift is a surprisingly effective movie about well worn topics. I thought it was a "grabber" and I've seen more than my share of survival type movies. actually could be classified as a psychological thriller! I take strong exception to Jonathan Pile's trashing of the movie. He missed the entertainment value and bit of mystery to the story. Why do some critics have to be critical of a basically good movie just to justify their job?

great story....and a chilling wake up call about what is happening to America in the present day
