While it did take a lot of effort to fix the mistakes of The Last Jedi, they managed to almost do it while still making it feel like a Star Wars movie; a feat I thought would be impossible. The first half of the first act is a bit fast paced and is clearly designed to retcon the previous film's issues. But after that first 20 minutes I was taken back to a feeling of wonder, suspense, and excitement that I used to expect from a Star Wars movie. I personally think this is the best film in the series since The Return of the Jedi.
