Joanne Terrell

I cynically underestimated this musical whenever I'd heard about it. It is spectacular. The lyrics, music and performances I could watch time and time again. The child actors/dancers are fun to watch and Miss Honey is really engaging. The only criticism I have (aside from the slight plot deviations) is that Emma Thompson just doesn't work for me as Miss Trunchbull.

For a second I wondered if Disney weren't involved, as it seemed aimed at children with the (rather annoying) character of Pawny seeming like a merchandising opportunity. The ending was an anti climax, with the boss battle nothing like those seen in MIB before. Wouldn't recommend unless you are 10.
