A terrible movie framed by a great director with great actor. This should have been a documentary. It is the furthest thing from an entertaining movie. I was duped. I went in expecting an incredible story played out by the best of actors and well directed. I’m not saying that the actions or directing was poorly done- just that my expectations of an entertaining movie were completely misplaced.

Terrible. Conceptually it had potential, but as an audience member it aimlessly led me down a laborious path with no understanding of the end goal. We kept waiting for that moment that we knew the movie would turn, and when it did it got marginally better only because of the action. The characters could have been so much more than they were. The action sequences were incredibly disappointing believe it or not. How unoriginal it was to have a zombie like scene finish what was supposed to be a climactic action sequence. This movie felt like it had no purpose whatsoever.

The most disappointing sequel I have experienced. Sequels are at a disadvantage to begin with and rarely meet the standards set by the original. That said, this film goes in an entirely different direction. So I can understand that some people liked it. I didn’t. It was more than a disappointment…it was offensive to me. It is why Marvel has been sooo much better than DC. You have a great character (and actress) with more enemies and skills to show yet you downplay all of that for a gimic of everything 80s.
