Seriously, it is so bad that...okay, literally any Godzilla movie is better than this series. I'm not a fanboy or traditionalist; rather, I'm amazed that with such an enormous budget and zero limitations, they still manage to have the worst writers imaginable. All other Godzilla movies have been dead-serious and taken themselves seriously, or jokes that understood the irony in the seriousness they attempt to portray. This, however, is a joke that takes itself completely at face value. In doing so, it fails to be either facetious or compelling. I guess one could watch it and not feel they'd wasted their time, completely, but that assumes said viewer could make it through more than the first hour without watching re-runs of The Office.
