Made for TV style movie with a lot of the cast coming from soap opera. Good movie to watch while making jokes about the special effects that look like they were done in someone's basement and the terrible acting.

Ugh. What a tedious movie. Most of the characters are extremely annoying and their reactions to events make no sense most of the time. I couldn't wait for it to be over.

It was kind of boring and lame. The cast tried with the dialogue and weak story. Props to the set decorators, though.

From the trailer I was expecting a thriller but it ended up being a pretentious snoozer. It's not a sci-fi movie - more like a moody art film with unrealistic characters.

Simply awful. I thought it would be a great out of season movie for people who lap up those Christmas romcom movies with a prince. But this one wasn't even trying. Lots of shrieking, quirky best friends. Terrible accents all around. Weird peasant costumes for the commoners. Lame "castle". The poor prince (who is a ringer for Prince) looked like he couldn't figure out how he got into this lame movie.

Fun, Christmasey movie with great leads and supporting cast. Jennifer Coolidge steals the show. It was entertaining throughout and the characters were more multidimensional than in many other holiday rom coms.

SPOILERS:The best worst movie I've seen in awhile. It was entertaining but all the trouble the main characters get into (and out of so easily) get to be laughable after a while. Few of the characters and their intentions felt real to me. For example, asking a stranger for a ride in the middle of an apocalypse and having him agree even though he's heading up to a few limited planes flying to safety out of Canada. Later getting to a tiny plane seconds before it takes off and having the pilot agree after one initial no to take the family with him even though the plane is already overloaded. The wife's hair and makeup are always perfect...
