I’ve rehabbed dozens of living spaces and clearly understand the therapeutic and theatrical value of swinging a sledge hammer but object to the irresponsible results. Cabinets that are ugly but reusable should e removed and taken to Habitat for Humanity. The social and ecological benefit far outweighs theater of demolition. Habitat does good work and mentioning them on your show has benefits that go beyond viewer ratings. Stripping drywall with a sledge is inefficient, but i don’t have a problem with that. Putting recyclable materials in a land fill is just WRONG.
