I was curious about yet another detective show on Masterpiece and along with Dame Diana Rigg passing decided to watch in tribute to her if nothing else. The story line of episode one was interesting one and kept my attention. I was not that impressed with any of the actors, except Van der Valk’s lover, who I have seen in various other series (Endeavor). The new detectives will have a hard act to follow considering the abilities of those on Shetland, Vera, and Grantchester, just to mention a few. I am so happy that there is so much good to chose from, and the actors are excellent in their vocation and expressing human emotions.
