This movie ranks amongst one of the best remakes in recent years. The original movies were no masterpieces so I’m not sure why people expected so much from this one. I didn’t, but was pleasantly surprised! It was funny, well paced, diverse, and modern. All the boxes were checked. I found it better and more interesting than captain marvel. Hands down.
