Pretty good movie. I didn’t read into it like other people who connected it to climate change. I just watched a funny end of the world movie and about science and comedy. Also I’m still trying to understand why a military general charged them for free chips and water. It’s funny try to wrap my head around it.

It’s a cartoon parody. It’s meant to be funny. Anyone that passed the 4th grade knows it is wildly inaccurate so for the one stars reviewers trying to degrade it by saying it’s not accurate and anti-America are probably closed minded and are huge fans of the movie “The birth of a nation”. For the rest of us normal 2021 people that are just enjoying our lives it’s a good movie to watch while cleaning the house and preparing to grill.

I’m no scientist but I’m a Dad so I’m gonna speak on the parenting of the Dad “Air Force General”, The mom “ Acting assistant director of NASA” and their 10 year old son. Great movie, however Hailey Barry character is supper self center, spoiler alert She “ Acting DIRECTOR of NASA leaves here 10 year old kid with a spoiled drugged out 18 year old and a a live in tutor to take a road trip threw an apoplectic, looting, world ending America. After!!!! AFTER !!! Her ex husband aka baby daddy“ Who is an Air Force General” who leaves on a helicopter to go to the Same bunker she sends her kid “the 10 year old son” on a road trip, who could have easy just rode on the helicopter with his father!!!! Also she the acting director of NASA, a fast food worker, and a alcoholic former astronaut pilot who was fired seem to be the only ones in the WORLD able to fly and navigate a space shuttle designed in the 1970s I’m guessing which none of them have any training to fly. The point is WHY!!! Why would the director of NASA go in to outer space with a ship that has no communication to the organization she is suppose to command. While both parents who have access to huge amounts of resources send there kid via the road with strangers on a freaking road trip. Outside of that it’s a good movie to watch when there’s no football on.
