Weak writing with plot holes. Why doesn’t the cop recognize the "under cover" narcotics cops in the bathroom? They work out of the same build, same floor and one is his bosses buddy. What kind of fantasy land are we in with the homeless tunnel dwellers? The news reports, the puppeteers, the policy work none of it rings true. The way the kidnappers deal with the kid. In no world does this make sense. Ends up seeming like a vehicle to het a lot of gay sex and "unhoused" ideology to the fore.

Not a highbrow or intellectual comedy but a tightly woven tale of silliness. Obvious plot but plenty of surprises. Lots of delightful characters. Gaffigan steals the show with a great performance perfectly cast.

Plot holes galore. Farcical. Juvenile. Pornography.

Formulaic. Full of virtue signaling. Good acting but 3rd season adds the obligatory poc and some amateur writing and acting. Not going to be remembered as one of the best mystery series.

If you need yet another source for Trump derangement that is not funny nor respectful of the conservative half of the country, well you could do worse.

Great character development. You end up caring a lot about the fate of dozen people in each season. With so many rich performances and side plots the story become compelling. The leads are really excellent too.
