Outstanding movie, start to finish. I was shocked to see how effortlessly this movie flowed, and was able to mix super hero action with light-hearted comedy so well. The cast couldn't have been more perfect and tailor-made for their roles, with Levi and Dylan stealing the show. But I'm a huge fan of Mark Strong, and he was able to deliver a performance that was not overly dark, and even in his seriousness was still able to display comedic charm with ease. Loved loved loved Meagan Good :-). Spectacular movie!

All I can say is WOW. It's 2020 and I'm just now seeing this movie for the first time, and my only question to me is "what the hell took you so long?" This was an absolutely outstanding movie. I have a new level of respect for Antonio Banderas, but the entire cast was brilliant, particularly Vera and Vicente. The movie is in Spanish, but after literally 5 minutes in I completely forgot I was reading subtitles. I'm not particularly into foreign films, but a sign of a great movie is when you don't even realize you're reading subtitles. The ending blew me clean out of the river and I did NOT see it coming. This movie gets 5 solid stars, I'd give it six if it would let me! YOU MUST SEE THIS FILM!!

My wife and I are both huge horror movie buffs, and interestingly, this is the ONLY movie that we disagree on. I absolutely loved this movie, she despised it. The concept is original and refreshing. What starts out as a stereotypical slasher/horror flick unfolds with SO much more substance than I could've imagined. The characters that came off as so predictable were nothing like you expected. Please give this movie a chance. You will NOT be disappointed!!

Solid, solid movie. A unique and refreshing story, something I don't believe has been tackled before. Bennett's performance was absolutely brilliant, in my opinion I'd even say Oscar-worthy! I have a newfound respect for her as an actress after watching Swallow. I can't classify it as a horror, or psychological thriller to be honest, I'd say more along the line of just a great drama. The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is that the rest of the cast were pretty mediocre at hest. But all in all, this was a great movie!

Absolutely a hilarious spoof movie. I find myself watching it over and over again through the years, it never gets old. John C. Reilly nailed this role, and made a new fan out of me. The supporting cast meshed so perfectly, and contributed to the potency and effectiveness of the movie. Please watch it, you will NOT be disappointed!

I give this movie 5 stars, which I rarely give to a movie, because it is gripping, heart-breaking, horrific, and intense. When a movie makes you hate a person to the point of wishing death upon them, it has already more than served it's purpose. I cringe when I remember that this movie was based on a true story. The acting was genuine, crisp, and believable. The abusive aunt truly, truly played her role to the tee , and made me want to kill her myself. Shockingly horrible, amazingly disturbing movie. One that sometimes you wish you could unsee.
