I have nothing against the film. It's a very realistic, gripping and violent film that sticks in your mind for long. Now I usually love movies that are suitable for any time, but this needs you emotionally ready. It's very heavy and dark. Either way Charlize Theron delivers a lifetime and breathtaking performance as this serial killer and Chrisyina Ricci was equally phenomenal. But maybe I wasn't very ready for this, and maybe I should so I can enjoy it even more. But I found it Asa gripping and realistic film overall.

This movie is simply my favorite movie ever! It stars Robert De Niro as a rough and powerful ruthless casino owner (maybe stereotypical, but defineltey good) Sharon Stone as a gorgeous and wicked con girl who's wild, unpredictable and fascinating. And then there's Joe Pesci's ruthless and evil gangster who's even rougher than De Niro. Scorsese directed this masterpiece so amazingly (no surprise). And it just revolves around wealth. The effects of welath. Everyone is just obsessed with money. Ginger (Stone's character) is addicted to money and will do anything for money. The film has such beautiful visuals, costumes and production designs which makes everything look like gold.

The Big Town is a thriller-drama starring Oscar Nominees Matt Dillon and Diane Lane, and Oscar-winner Tommy Lee Jones. The film is forgotten, really forgotten, but I was surprised. I thought this movie would be dull or boring, but it was great and entertaining. Although the acting isn't the best, Diane and Matt are trying too hard, but the script fails to support them. Tommy Lee Jones is only seen on the poker tables, we see him in the end, in a very action-packed scene, but you can't really judge him. Lee Grant was acceptable in this picture, but her role is the most forgotten. I thought the love scenes would be too over the top, but they were fine. Overall, the film fails to stun you but surprises you. It's not something you'd watch over and over, but it deserves your time.
