The Cave is incredibly well done. It goes beyond the short clips we see on the network news about Syria’s war. In the middle of the Russian bombing, in an underground hospital in a small Syrian town lies an heroic team of doctors lead by a courageous female pediatrician. They risk their own lives to save bombing victims. The most heartbreaking scenes are of the children traumatized and severely injured by the bombings. The film crew brought us the ugly realities of the Syrian war and its human toll while putting themselves in danger. This documentary should not be missed for the courage of its filmmakers to create it.
