i was really excited to play this game, and i genuinely really enjoyed it. the visuals are lovely, as well as the music and the story. the gameplay was very intuitive and fun, and i had a good time playing it. it only took me two hours to complete though, and for a game which i paid a decent amount of money for (from the perspective of a very broke student), i was expecting more. a few of the levels i found challenging, although not to the level i was hoping for. for £16, i was expecting a lot more than two hours gameplay since it is a fair bit expensive. possibly my expectations were too high, but the ending did feel a bit abrupt and left me quite disappointed. there is only one gamemode, so after finishing the story you have effectively finished the game. having said all that, the graphics are stunning, and there is something incredibly satisfying about watching little lego people hop around realistic lego scenes. it is a lovely game which is good if you're after mild challenges and puzzles to occupy your mind for a few hours, but if it doesn't sound like your cup of tea, don't waste £16!
