The casting was great, couldn't believe the resemblance that Rami Malek and the others had to those of Mercury, May, Taylor and Deacon.
That being said, the film is more of a tribute than a biopic. And I loved it!
I've just seen the actual Live Aid performance of Queen and was blown away by how the movie got that so accurately (although they dropped-" Crazy Little Thing Called Love").
I felt, for a PG-13 movie, this is the best we can get. As a Queen fan, it was a delight.
Also, to add a bit of a side note, the critics were also "critical" about "The Doors" movie, but the fans loved it (Val Kilmer nailed it).
