It is a very interesting novel. This is so because Ngugi,s re-creation of Kenyan history is phenomenal.It also gives us insight into the Kenyan society where they were fighting among themselves. Though this happened during the pre-colonial era.it is suggestive that Africans must avoid Xenophobiac attitude cast in the mould of the Mau mau groupin the Novel
