Okay, I must concede that Season 2 redeems Foundation. It's still skews wide of Asimov's vision, but has come into itself as a compelling bit of TV SciFi, especially in Jared Harris's portrayal of Haro Seldon.

Yep, nope, life it too short. Couldn't make it past the touch-screen restart of the habitat wheel, everyone is floating around then drops to the floor like an electromagnet switched on - nope, I'm no physicist, but even I can figure out that once the hab starts rotating again, it would smash a wall into all those floating fools. This is by the far the worst 10 minutes of TV I've ever watched, even outdid the atrocious barf fest that was Helix.

Knowing nothing about this little gem beyond the preview blurb, The Good Liar delivered much, much more than the grey-haired romcom l expected to watch. Forget the MSM critics, Mirren, McKellen and company deliver masterfully.
