Subtly poetic and aesthetic like moving frames of watercolour. It lures one into the present with a sense of timelessness and also to rethink the value of and priorities in life. Tactfully directed and acted, accompanied by delightful sound effects.

Bizarre! Not enjoyable as a musical nor as a film. I chose it because of Marion Cotillard whom I have seen in several movies where she played very different roles but always excellent: if I remember correctly in "La Vie en Rose" portraying Edith Piaf and "Rust and Bones" or a title similar to this. She was disappointing in this mainly because the story itself is so uninteresting. The entire show was leading the audience on by attempting to be sensational: it tried with love scenes, with violence but the climax led to nothing but disappointment.
