I just finished Carve the Mark and WOW. I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad at this point. It ended with so much more possibilities to come and I can't wait to read the second book. I love the characters and I fell in love with all of their stories and personalities. You have a way to bring them to life.I even laughed and cried with them. I found myself reading so fast that I would have to reread pages to make sure I hadn't missed anything. I would have to stop and take a moment to let what I read soak in and act like a crazy person Because I'm feeling so much from a book. Their relationship was what I expected but also different. I thought that would happen but the teasing of it throughout made it worse, and finally in the end I was like...YES! YES! YES! From the beginning I hooked on this book, it made it impossible not to read from night till morning because I just needed more. I wanted to read faster to get more of the story,but slower to savour it because of how good it was. I can't wait to read what happens in the next book. And to Veronica if she ever sees this, I don't even have the words, but I guess it's better to not say something like Cyra. Well done and congratulations for writing such an amazing piece of art. Because this is art in the form of words that never even existed until now.
