It's a MUST WATCH IN THEATRE movie... In India where our history and mythology is important part of our heritage this concept of Astras is unique and if used well has a lot of potential and can be a game changer for Indian entertainment industry. Bow down to Ayan Mukherji, the torch bearer of something this amazing. Coming to the movie, considering its gonna be a trilogy, the story is well structured. Some may have felt the pace of the story slow and dialogues mediocre sort of at moments, but again its gonna be a trilogy and since the movie is for a large population the dialogues aren't particularly Gen Z... But then that's everyone's personal views.. I found it just fine. All the characters also played their parts real well. It was amazing to watch our favourite legends in that fantasy ride. Loved the Nagarjuna and SRK cameo. They were just awesome. The movie is a visual treat to watch. The VFX has set a high standards for future films. Paired with appropriate BGM and sound effects and will leave you enthralled. Overall it's a good movie.

Giving a little insight- the movie is set in 70s to 90s as story progresses. The story is about a man in village of northern India who tries seeking loan from a bank only to find that he's stripped off of his inherited land by his kins by declaring him dead legally. Bharat Lal, the main character of the story then decides to fight them legally and regain his rights and falls prey to our never ending judicial system. The character of Bharat Lal played by Pankaj Tripathi will take you on the roller coaster of emotions with his journey and Pankaj Sir sure nailed every aspect of the character from being a naive and joyful bandwala Bharat Lal to a stubborn, determined rebellious Bharat Lal Mritak. With his amazing acting he gives a magnetic charm to the character of Bharat Lal which will draw you to his personality giving you a peek into his psychological state when he faces teasing from society, betrayal from his family and disappointment from the everywhere. The other supportive characters like of his wife by Monal Gajjar and Satish sir as Lawyer are good. Though the movie is supposed to be serious, the makers have given it some comical touch making it a comic drama not only showing the character's struggles but also taking a dig at our slow and procrastinating judicial system. Overall, with good music (especially jug jug jiyo song) and very nice storyline the movie is definitely something refreshing especially if you're not into the remakes🙊😝😅

Bala - the trailer itself got me excited to watch the movie and I guess it was full paisa wasool for me. Ayushmaan again maintained to deliver a good content driven amazing movie. The hard hitting dialogues and impressive performances beautifully manages to deliver the purpose and message of self love/ self acceptance and dignity to the crowd. Talking about the characters Ayushmaan as Bala is the guy facing premature balding.. He himself is hypocritical about Beauty and appearance that he even bullied his childhood friend /classmate (bhumi) for being dark skinned. Bala having years of attention due to his charming personality, mimicking skills and beautiful hair.. Balding takes toll on his self confidence and he therefore tries turning every stone possible to avoid complete baldness.. With his impeccable acting and beautifully crafted dialogues Ayushmaan makes you feel Bala's insight right to the core. Bhumi playing the dark skinned girl Latika potrays a strong self confident woman. Having faced bullying for years about being dark skinned and yet not giving up or trying to fit into societal definition of beautiful.. Latika gives you a serious message for self love and living with dignity. Yami as Pari fits perfect as a tik tok celebrity and face for fairness products. Strongly supported by Saurabh Shukla, Abhishek Banerjee and Javed Jaffrey all the characters fits just perfectly fine. The movie takes you through the journey of Bala's struggles of self acceptance and sticks to the concept till the end without any period of boredom. So overall I'll say it's a funny family entertainer with a good content. A must watch let me add.

Already watched it thrice and may even go for more.. What more do I say...? Good story, good performances, lovely characters, no moment of dullness. There are no cliché dialogues, a fantasy much more like real. The scenes are perfectly matched with some beautiful music. Peter K. I guess is every girls perfect dream boy..(loved Noah C as P. K)

Loved the movie. Story is good and it's definitely worth a watch.
