Amazing addicting game that challenges players. The 30fps doesn’t matter, as the gameplay is responsive. Only reasons why you wouldn’t like it are - not into kart racers - not into competitive games/prefer a more beginner friendly experience (I.e. party kart racer like Mario Kart) I’d recommend newcomers (didn’t play the original CTR) to look at hints and tips (provided in the game) before playing, and trying out a couple races in easy mode (or just drive around the hub world in adventure mode) first to get a feel for the game and how to play it. It isn’t an easy kart racer so give yourself some time to learn how to play effectively (also try out the various character classes to see which one you like the most, no need to stick to one either). Additionally to note, you’ll need internet connection to earn in game currency to unlock some cosmetics, a degree of stuff is available through story mode but it is only a fragment of the total cosmetic content. Unlocking new cosmetics can be somewhat of a grind, so don’t expect to unlock everything any time soon. Lastly Grand Prix Events will Introduce new characters, karts and other cosmetics and a brand new track, while offering challenges to reward players for experiencing the extensive content of the game.
