It’s like the screen writers had a friend give them a run down of the books on an afternoon when they were limited on time, used the glossary for names and places, and tried to recreate the whole story to fit their woke perspective. The sheer disrespect for the story and individual character development within it is disappointing. This is only season one, so they might still be able to salvage some semblance of what Robert Jordan created, but this doesn’t install any faith in the industry for adapting popular fantasy fiction to the screen.
