Respected google+ friends,
I have read the reviews by other members and at the out-set I wanna say that to each and every one as well as everybody out there with a hurrah big shout out. This review is NOT about Bheem or any salt/walt guy but about me and my grandpa who expired a few months ago.
As a child of 5-6 years I used to watch Chhota Bheem with my grandpa who used to look after me as my mom and dad where both employed by their companies and used to leave early and come only in evening. (as also granny expired pastly.) We are from Southern part of south India and so it is a close society there. My grandpa used to run a small library for poor kids as he was very fond of kids. Even now it is there and you can simply walk in and read books. no fees! or any side-work to do! Among them many would ask for Bheem comics but he always said NO! Very angrily sometimes! As he sincerely believed comics are too bad for growth.
So surprised he became much when dad brought one dvd (Chhota Bheem and Krishna) one day and insisted that we ALL watch it. Some1 in his office had praised the movie sky-hi. Grandpa scolded my dad very much and DID NOT watch it at all! But latter on whenever I was watching the dvd repeatedly many times he would say "what?!!" as he was HEARING the dialogues but NOT watching! And I would see a STRANGE expression on his face! He was very well-read gentlemen in proper bookish-english and spent many years abroad in UK so he was SIMPLY FLOORED to witness the dialogues. I was too young to know what was going on but one day (around Onam) he made peace with my daddy on the matter and first asked then in fact argued like a baby! For what?!!!! The COVER of the dvd as grandpa wanted to read the name of the person who wrote such great dialogues! Within hours he was writing congratulatory emails (his VERY first my dad says) to who but the writer (who must have got spammed for he never responded) and then to the owners (who unfortunately chose to reply through a junior member in a very cliched and superior manner). grandpa also wrote to the channel who ignored him totally.
All these happened 9-10 years ago and I can only thank the person who wrote such marvelous enthralling story and breaking-bad kind of dialogues! It brought as already close family even closer. My old grandpa got much peace due to this movie as there would be smile of contentment on his face. Before he was always finding faults with write-ups in movie credits, newspapers, novel and cursing everyone for not putting hardwork to actually pen original thoughgts but watching the movie changed his mindset and gave him happiness and during evenings with his retired friends he would repeat the dialogues with much joy and amazement.
In the years much has happened. Chhota Bheem has itself confused its own audience. Sometimes it is a serious+fun adventure other times a sorry example worthy of being spat upon! A fall is never nice! It makes sense to quit when ahead. As someone who grew with Bheem and was his fan all during life I wanna advice from bottom of my heart to the makers and broadcasters.
Bheem is over.
Please stop.
