I like the idea of a serial rather than individual story lines . Introducing swearing is a bad and unnecessary addition in an attempt to make it modern . We watch these programs to escape the modern The original theme should have been kept the reworked new version is thin and tinny The friction between him and his colleagues is a bit obvious you can see now he'll prove them wrong at some time . Despite these moans it looks good , well acted and worth a watch .

Season 3 is now produced using amazons studios and production. Richer colours, drone shots , improved photography, the acting is slicker maybe because the cast know each other better . So it’s a lightweight, witty detective drama set in Mallorca. A pleasant change from the dark story lines , available elsewhere. There’s a place for this despite touching on corny occasionally , which is actually quite endearing. It’s an old fashioned show in a good way . It doesn’t take itself too seriously and doesn’t make any woke political or social comments which plagues many productions these days eg coronation street. Now it’s on prime and reaching out to many more people, I’m sure season 4 will be announced soon , let’s hope . Well reviewed by the Guardian the Telegraph and Independent , it’s a very enjoyable watch , very highly recommended.

It was ok I guessed the story early on which didn’t help . These style of films are usually a bit corny , as was this . Nice shots of cyprus. The acting was a little wooden in places but overall worth a watch . They didn’t use connick singing much so I didn’t get why he was cast in this as he’s a better singer than he is an actor . The night previous I watched the new Batman movie which was atrocious. So this movie was a nice lift in comparison.

Corny not very funny considering the strength of the cast . The new breed of comedians just not doing it at all . I'm sure they all disliked the end result Watch midsomer instead .

Sugar coated spy drama . Strong cast very well acted ,not sure Emilia Fox is the ideal actress for this , the fight scenes are a bit pantomime and unrealistic. Lovely settings , dodgy storyline, a bit flimsy , well produced and directed better than average . Despite this very watchable, and much better than the b movie offerings on Netflix. They generally don’t make it past ten minutes. It’s rare these days to find a film that isn’t loaded with bad language or mindless sex scenes . So brew up one afternoon and enjoy . Watched episode 2 , and this is more in keeping with Emilia Fox , no running around with a gun . A bit slow but we’ll acted , decent story , lovely settings . A good watch .

The story was a bit thin don't know why Emelda may was in it she can't act and hardly sang and spoiled the scenes she was in . So many actresses to choose from who can sing . Pics though Fabulous. Feel good film . Could've been better . Worth a watch though

Revisited this movie from my initial watch . Missed some small details the first time around . It’s a great movie , great cast and brilliantly acted . More glitzy compared to the first one . It’s different and it had to be . Don’t miss it

A decent cast attempting to polish a turd . They are either a bit short or their agents need sacking . Anyway the turd wins out .
