A great metaphor for climate change and the denial of consequences. Very bold of Hollywood to produce a movie in 1959 making trenchant points about human ignorance and power plays - and no cutesy happy ending....SO BOLD, Swain swimming to radiated Frisco is one of the most poignant scenes ever. We can still learn from movies like this.l have actually been to that beach many times and so chilling to see radiated Melbourne.
