It is a film that restores the possibility of the Movie industry as it does the memory of those lives on the screen. Jackson has given us not just the look of the Great War but the humanity or lose of it by those engaged by it. If only the film industry would follow his lead perhaps going the the movies would be worthwhile to other then the Candy Butchers.
