Great movie with all of that you’d expect from Ridley Scott. Same themes and almost same storyline. Denzel, the great actor he is but his New York accent was very evident as he portrayed the antagonist in the film. You didn’t know he was the antagonist until near the end of the film. All in all, a great film. I would’ve loved to see a beefier lead (protagonist) but his acting was on point in comparison to all of them. The medicine man added much needed depth in the chaos of the arc of the story. Good movie

Ummm this is not Spike’s Genre. It shows. Still a fan just wish he would stick to his unique style, niche and genre. Horror is not it. This film is a “No” Respectfully.

People the show has a disclaimer at beginning stating each episode the character’s and story is based on true events and true characters…intentionally. This stuff happened in real life in part. It’s about the obsession with celebrity and how young people can obsess about a celebrity in this case a character based off of Beyoncé and her crazy fans called the Hive- in this movie the “swarm”. The young lady portrays some of the young people who lose touch with reality with obsessing about the celebrity to the point of killing anyone who doesn’t like their celebrity. Again these episodes have some element of truth of real life in events and People. Pay attention. One episode talked about the lead character biting the Beyoncé (Nijah)character. This actually happened in real life years ago. They blamed Sanaa Lathan for biting Beyoncé but it was actually a crazy fan. Crazy beehive fans

Excellent writing and character progression

If you have two hours to burn , this movie is for you. If you like suspense-it is thick with suspense and the eerily nebulous “boogeyman” theme. For its take on “The Quiet Place” if that was the aim- it was indeed more textured. The true star of this movie is the character development and constant plot lines and twist. If you keep your expectation on “adventure” mode- resentment won’t settle in at the end of movie. It’s rich in character development but lengthy in the journey to an end. For adventure sake- the thrill of movie is a great ride albeit a lengthy one. Stay focused- lots of people in the room in any given Scene.

Brilliant but lengthy. Get ready for the ride of your life. Brilliantly written with keeping the nemesis hidden all the way to the end. You won’t see the culprit to close to the end. By that time you will have guessed 6 different possible killers. Awesome who done it. Diversity was beautiful until you no longer noticed. Great actors. Buckle up for the Long ride but It will be worth it
