It seems Mac wanted to change his style a little and I really do love this album. A different, unique sound, exploring something new and I really enjoyed his different monotone. Most people who don't like this just want to hear songs like "Salad Day's" or "My Kinda Women" won't get those lush, melancholy songs like his older albums. As Mac says in his song "Skyless Song": "Baby Blue, I've been making changes too." and he does a fantastic job in doing so.
