Absolutely loved this show! At first I was afraid that it would be too similar to shows like Elité or Riverdale which in their prime looked promising, but had many problems with representation or plot lines. As a huge Skam fan, I was instantly obsessed with this Swedish royal show. The cast was diverse without seeming forced, all talented and actually looked like teenagers, with acne, etc. which gave the whole show a more believable, natural look. The chemistry in the relationship of Wilhelm and Simon was absolutely incredible, so natural and magnetic, and each cast member really sold me. The LGBTQ+ relationship did not feel forced and catering to a straight audience - the characters weren't epitomised into stereotypes or tokenised, rather they were developed into complex individuals. The show also delves into Asperger's, ADHD, anxiety, stress, and more without riffing on stereotypes and clichés. The show itself was beautifully filmed with the cinematography, everything looked "beautifully raw " and "cinematic for lack of better terms. Overall the experience was so heart-wrenching and vitalising- I hope they renew for season 2 and more seasons to come!

One of my favorite shows! It is a hilarious, romantic, story, and any telenovelaholic will definitely appreciate this telenovela parody, which also happens to be a play on the religious story of Virgin Mary and the birth of Jesus.

Although the film does express the struggles of high school, it still felt superficial and and cliche. The movie was like candy hearts to me- artificial, familiar, and way too cloying.

Although somewhat cliche, this film is an undeniably sweet, heartwarming romance and definitely something you want to watch if you're looking for a light, delightful treat.

A heartwarming, bittersweet story of an anxious boy who is afraid to live and a spunky girl who is trying to live her life at the fullest. The film is a fusion of both comedy and heartfelt emotion.The difficult subject of cancer is handled well, a Fault in Our Stars feel with a nostalgic blend of sad yet hopeful. The acting is authentic, and as another review says, this is not a clichéd teen romance movie but rather a tale of two friends who love and bring out the best in one another while exploring the layers of life.

Although the movie does follow the trope of "best friends have chemistry and eventually end up together," the accurately portrayed Asian culture mixed in definitely made the film a delicious, relateable treat.

The movie followed a romance plot line seen often, with two people not realising they are falling in love, rejecting it, then facing the fact that they were destined to be together. Honestly, although it was quite amusing and awkward for me to see the way the two misfits communicated, the movie overall was not bad. The acting was not too fake, and it wasn't boring. However, I thought that the Bollywood girls plot line could've been developed a little better.

I only watched around 10 minutes of the movie, so the only thing I can really say about the movie is: the narration part sucks.
