This study in narcissism is sadly very dull. The filmmaker Fails on a fundamental level to get sympathy for his lead Character. It would not have been very difficult to make his audience care about his character but unfortunately, we know so little about her he really doesn’t bother to flesh her out beyond her, most immediate obsession. The choppy editing are not doing the filmmaker any favors either because we never really get a sense of the depth of her isolation. There are ample opportunities throughout the film to convey this isolation, but the filmmaker chooses to gloss over these moments. This movie was quite pointless. I don’t know why I watched it. I didn’t get anything out of it. I learned nothing I felt nothing. maybe I’m alone.

It has an almost quiet Scandinavian quality. By no means a "fun film" on any level but totally engaging all the way through. The tonal control is spot on. The most devastating part for me was the soulless quality of the office. Everyone's strange robotic quality, silent complicity, working in tandem like a single machine designed to drive any sane person mad. Strange, Havey, ahem, The boss seemed to be the only human being even though he's off screen.
