This book didn’t create the magic for me.
I didn’t fall in love with any of the characters. None of the scenes touched my heart.
All I felt was that the writer is trying to create confusion throughout which she couldn’t combine in the end thoughtfully.
Why are the characters written in alternate chapters in the first part... which causes an irritation and distraction reading the novel. When you start to learn n get to know a character (interest develops), the chapter ends and starts talking about another character.
Emma having such an important role according to the story.. doesn’t seem at all until she wrote a line about her in the epilogue. Didn’t she deserve some kind of importance?
You have to wait until epilogue to learn about the suspense. Otherwise there is just nothing.
The writer tried to create suspense but couldn’t. I tried to find out if it’s a thriller or a confusion created leading nowhere.
Bad characterisation, confused story, no magic created, the least-likeable novel I’ve read by far.
