I never write reviews but I truly love the original film, and halfway through the 2020 one I am bored. There was so much potential with set decor, costumes, etc. - had all the elements except the storyline. They skip through every scene so fast, no character development, not one fun or heartwarming scene - no attachment/emotion because of that... Mulan was already good at what she does, no working/training for it, and exempted the dramatic choice of standing in place for her father in the ancestral temple, etc. And no Mushu?! Brb gonna go watch the original now :)

I think they did a great job remaking it! Sad it has to end!
