THIS IS ART! This game is a puzzle based game with no combat, only a depressing world that makes you feel like the world around you is actually crumbling. The game has such a wonderfully dark, gloomy world on its last gasp, which is very reminiscent of Dark Souls's dreary, hopeless world, but unlike Dark Souls, the few people left are absurdly kind and feel real, making it so you feel bad for the people and the anarchy they are facing instead of slaughtering everything in sight like with most apocalyptic games. The game is absolutely dripping with atmosphere and the wondrous music makes it even more memorable and charming, yet it always keeps a consistent sluggish and dark tone, despite what you and the absolutely amazing protagonist are doing. Speaking of which, Nicole is so loveable childish and heartwarming that you feel genuinely sad for him and his predicament, which is even more sad when the optimistic kid becomes depressed due to the dying world. The plot is also thicker than honey with so many layers that it will completely scrambe your mind, or at least that would be the case if not for the amazing way the story is told to you bit by bit through the characters and world around you. There is no reason not to buy and play such a cheap game that offers so much that no other piece of fiction has ever come close to doing. Is it the best work of fiction ever? Absolutely not, but what it does have is unique and spectacularly integrated well into the game and can be found nowhere else.
