After a friend recommended it, i binge watched it in a day and loved it. It's fast, funny, tragic and the best show I've watched this year. Jeremy Allen White is superb and in a thousand ways, big and small, owns the role of Carmy. And he's supported by a diverse and equally incredible cast. Can't wait for season two. Highly recommended.

I'm a huge HGTV fan and don't know how I've missed this show. I watched it for the first time tonight and liked it well enough. But I apparently missed something. The couple told them they had scraped together $112,000 for the renovation. At the end, the guys said the work had cost $183,000!! The woman looked like she was trying hard to cover up her shock. Nowhere in the show was there a conversation with them over how hugely the designers were exceeding the budget -- or how the poor couple was going to pay for it. Like I said, did I miss something? Or did someone else pay the difference?
