Do yourself a favor and fast forward to the end credits for actual constructive actions to take. But ignore the rich, former tech-exec who smugly brags about how he doesn't allow his children any screen time. (I'm betting the nanny that's responsible for engaging his kids probably allows it.) This film features people lamenting about how they built Frankenstein, and now that they've gotten their fat pay checks they're really sorry - they swear. They talk of how technology is polarizing society without at all addressing or discussing how the U.S. has been a polarized society since it was founded. Marginalized people are using technology to connect and share, and that momentum is meeting the same harsh, racist resistance THAT HAS ALWAYS BEEN PRESENT IN THIS COUNTRY. But no let's not delve into that. According to these people, the real problem is that our FB feeds aren't more open-minded.
