I got Netflix a few months ago and got burned out from all the typical teen drama shows that play radioactive or warriors from imagine dragons and have an extremely predictable plot. This series is going down as one of my favorites because I just genuinely had a good time watching, instead of sitting there predicting the next plot twist or character description I laughed at the jokes and loved the self awareness of the show. Plus although it was just jokes on the surface there were actual empathetic scenes. I have never seen a show on Netflix just so accurately describes how teenagers can be until now. Having been a typical running away from home to go on an adventure with a twist that makes it just something fun to watch. That’s something that shows should strive for instead of trying to be dark and edgy and come up with the new twist for the audience that is clearly driven by budget and trying to beat the competition to get more money. In other words: Yes I very much recommend to any young adult/teen who just wants to watch a good show without dedicating your life to multiple seasons of it.
