This violently gruesome series seems to have pretentions as a serious study of trauma or perhaps a deeply black comedy, but is simply an exercise in cynicism that exploits the most extreme forms of human suffering to make a buck. I'm astounded that some good actors were persuaded to participate in such nauseating rubbish.
