Overall a nonsensical plot that raises far more questions than it answers. Palpatine comes off as a complete idiot. How can the guy who single handedly brought down the Jedi order keep all his fleet in one location leaving them completely vulnerable. At least some could deploy as they all seem operational, and at least one was sent to destroy a planet. Also if the Emperor always had access to the resources to build a fleet of planet destroying star destroyers why did he wait until now to do it? Why did he spend so much time and resources on death stars and star killer base? If he wanted Rey to come and kill him and become a sith why did he broadcast out to the whole galaxy? Why send Kylo Ren to kill her at the beginning of the film? Also so many fake deaths that we all knew were fake. Honestly did Disney even run this past a test audience. I will say JJ Abrams and team captured the clunky dialog from the Lucas films but that's about the only thing I would say this movie has in common with original trilogy.
