Minnesota Central (MN)

Not as good as I remember it being. I Loved it as a kid when I played back in the day but after recently replaying it in 2024, I can confidently say I was extremely blinded by my love for the James Bond movies (especially Brosnan) to see the many faults in this game. The best part is the story.... The theme song ...and the fact that they were able to get the whole cast from the movies as well as featuring Willem Dafoe as the main villain. Now here's the real problems; There's no stealth. The gadgets are too challenging to use, the grenade for instance has no aim. Also scrolling through weapons and gadgets slow, why aren't there simple button swaps? The driving mechanics are pretty bad especially compared to burnout 3 or GranTurismo4. The racing level is awfuland the tank mission is poorly made. The lock on targeting system is kinda cool but makes it impossible to mow down enemies, you can only take down one at a time. The mechanics for Hand to hand combat is terrible. No way around it. Triangle and Square for takedown? Seriously? What kind of combo is that??? Never before in any game have I seen that. I refrain from using this move because it inevitably causes the game to pause due to the menu button being right between triangke and square. So I'm limited to spamming the square button punching soldiers senslessly until they fall down.
