I don't think that Chanyeol was suit for this character. (Based on the webtoon) I think that someone like Chan Eunwoo could have been a better option. Chanyeol acting was very good, but I dont felt it like he was good for this type of story, role and character. As for Seohyun same does, shes a great actress but not in the right role, maybe Fei (former MissA), UEE, Jun Hyoseong (former Secret) could pull out the role of ,, Irene" better they are more expresive and suitable for the role of a normal girl now famous dressed up extravagant and glamorous, meanwhile Seohyun gives me an eternal classy vibe like ,, always the queen" she doesnt make her character credible for this movie. And for the main actress, in my option too annoying to exagerating, a bruh girl but 10000000 times annoying making you wanna leave her to not be around her to not make you annoyed. For the main role it should have been someone more professional (i dont know actresses from china except Fan bingbing but she wouldnt have been suitable for this role). But, as an korean example of a better option of the main female maybe IU, shes a good actress and less annoying and expresive.
