I couldn't wait to see this movie being a huge Queen and Freddie Mercury fan. Was not disappointed. I went with my 23 year old granddaughter and she said she couldn't take her eyes off the screen. She now is a big fan and is downloading the music.
The movie played homage not only Freddie but to the band and their music. They were all geniuses in contributing to their success.
Rami Malik was phenomenal and deserves an Academy Award!! He truly personified Freddie.
The movie was touching, funny, sad, and humanistic. The music was awesome. I felt like I was at the concerts especially during the Live Aid portion.
It is a must see even for those not Queen fans. It is pure entertainment.
