Regardless of COVID-19, change in script, filming, COVID restrictions.....etc. The finale was perfect. Everyone always wants the perfect ending. Life doesn’t happen that way or does it. We create our own happiness! How do you sum up 15 years in one hour. Each episode of season 15 was the finale. From the start of the series each character had a role and a goal. Their happiness pending on their demise. When you accomplish everything you set out to do what else do you have to live for. Dean struggled with believing in God all 15 seasons because of the world he lived in. Chuck dead what does he have to live for? Going back to the grind. He created his own heaven. Sam never lived, brains not Braun. He never lived his life to its fullest potential. Sam was happiest with Eileen it doesn’t take imagination to conclude they grow old together. The last episode was perfection. Sorry if you missed the point! It’s impossible to please everyone! And everyone is a critic!
The ending was foreshadowed over 15 seasons. Really how did you think it was supposed to end. With so many characters all important to its story summed up in an hour, please! The Impala the forth biggest character got it’s just dessert. BTW a car most would love to have including me! Everyone got the ending they yearned for. Dean went out guns blazing, Castiel protecting Dean, the human he was created to not love (episode 18), Sam living the life he always wanted, and the Impala driving in haven off in the sunset! Nothing in life is perfect, we all have trials and tributes. Just like the premiss of the show. Each character went out on their own terms!
