Halloween ignores all other entries in the series except for the original. Every decent scene in this movie is a direct rip off from one of the sequels. This movie states that Michael's attacks in 1978 were random. There was no reason he targeted Laurie Strode. Ok...40 years later, Michael escapes and goes after Laurie Strode. That's not random, that's planned. This movie features one of the worst twists in horror movie history. The teenage characters are unlikable, we truly don't care if they live or die. Several characters don't even try to flea or fight for their lives. They simply sit there and let Michael kill them. Very disappointing entry. In all, Halloween pretends that none of the other sequels exist while most viewers pretend this one doesn't.
