The performances in this film were outstanding; I’m shocked at some of the reviews that basically rip it to shreds. I wasn’t crazy about the structure either; it did feel a bit like television for the first 20 minutes. But hang in there with it. It’s worth it; you will be in tears . Laia Costa and Oscar Isaac are just exceptional.
