Utterly ridiculous implausible film, albeit amusing at times. It feels like it was written by a 14 year old boy. Jason Statham is the same in every single movie he's ever been in , wooden acting, awful, cheesy dialogue. He should get the Liam Neeson award for excellence in typecast actors, it's exactly what it says on the tin so I don't know what I was expecting.

I love Luc Besson, he’s the entire reason I rented this film. But I found the film really cliched and problematic, the Bourne identity franchise has this genre down pat, this film doesn’t even come close. For one the accents are appalling, even from seasoned actors like Mirin. Frankly whom ever was in charge of period correct technology should be fired, Laptops with internet in the late 80’s in communist Russia? phones that looked like they were from the late 90’s in the 80’s. Sometimes you can forgive the little stuff if the film is well made and engaging, alas I found myself focused on the Minutia as the film as a whole is really quite disappointing.
