A character like joker should have qualities such as weirdness, out-of-sense humour, mental illness and physcotic past. Phoenix portrays this character with utmost naturalism and brilliance. The story gradually transitions from a normal to abnormal life instance. Some might find the story a bit boring but this is the best portrayal of jokers past. Dark and weird.
